San.Co custom made creations for the Fintecna headquarters

For the Roman headquarters of Fintecna spa, the fire and smoke protection solutions of San.Co were chosen for a custom made intervention.

Fintecna spa, a joint-stock company of the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti group that mainly deals with managing state shareholdings in companies and entities, needed a particular intervention for its headquarters: a glass fire-resistant compass.

San.Co, a brand of the Zanini Porte group, is in fact specialized in wood and fire-resistant glass doors, also in customized versions.

For the historic Roman building of Fintecna, a fireproof glass door with double glass fire door with two wings of the EI 60 ′ Isofire AluSwing series was therefore created. The fire doors have aluminum finishes but what is even more interesting are the side walls with open-jointed fire-resistant glass, the glazed ceiling which is also open-jointed and the fixed arched transom window that closes the intervention.

The ground profiles were shaped to fit the steps of the building and the vertical profiles of the compass were adapted to the shaped columns. An absolutely necessary attention to detail as it is an intervention inside a historic building of extreme value.
