San.Co fire doors for the Hotel Montemartini in Rome

For the careful and refined renovation of Palazzo Montemartini in Rome, home of the hotel structure of the Ragosta Hotels Collection chain, San.Co was chosen for the supply of fire doors for the rooms and for the spectacular fireproof glass of the lift lobby at the mezzanine floor of the hotel. The project was developed by the King Roselli Associati studio which was able to combine the elegance of the 1881 building with a high-tech interior design characterized by minimal furnishings and colors.

Some of the main Italian and international contracts have been involved in this project: Tino Sana, Starpool, Pozzi Ginori, Makro. San.Co supplied the fire doors in the breakfast room, the fire doors in the rooms and the fire door in the lift lobbies.

The glass, strictly fireproof, was used to compartmentalize the elevator on the mezzanine floor. A particular and tailor-made process with 30 ‘fire resistance from the Isofireglas family.

The doors of the EI 30 ‘rooms of the Isofire RM 30’ series are completely flush with the wall from the corridor side: they have a completely invisible aluminum frame and the door completely flush with the wall. They have a fire resistance of 30 minutes (EI 30 ‘) and a noise reduction certified according to ISO 140-3, equal to 31dB.

Finally, the doors of the Isofire L STAR 60 ‘series (60-minute fire resistance) for accessing the breakfast room. These are very natural wood fire doors, water painted, extremely customizable, at the highest level of safety. They are available with one or two solid or glazed doors that resist fire up to two hours.
